Hip Hop “Dance” emerged in New York in the 1970s, having a deep historical and social root in the African American and Latinos Communities.
It began as a freestyle dance performed in the streets by dance crews primarily to hip hop music, and the movements are mainly characterized by Bounces, Rock, Skate, and Roll.
Girls’ Style is a feminine interpretive version of the dance, which draws inspiration and incorporates movements from Street Dance, Street Jazz, or Pop dance genres.
It focuses on techniques for confidence building with an engagement of your sensuality. All genders are welcome.
Popping is a style of dance that started in the late 1960s and ’70s, known for the sudden tensing and releasing of the muscle to the rhythm of the beats in music. Key moves in Popping are Animation, The Boogaloo, The Robot/Botting, DIme Stop, Isolations, Tutting, and Miming.
Locking is a style of funk dance, which is today also associated with hip hop. The name is based on the concept of locking movements, which means freezing from a fast movement and “locking” in a certain position, holding that position for a short while, and then continuing at the same speed as before.

“K-Pop Cover Dance” is a term that describes the imitation and impersonation of K-Pop artists’ dance choreography.
K-POP Choreography typically covers various styles such as Hip-hop, Jazz, and Contemporary. The class is designed for K-Pop lovers or people who wish to learn to dance through Korean pop music.
Choreo in short for Choreography is the art of composing dances and planning dancers’ movements, steps, and patterns.
The dance technique varies as it depends on the dance style and genre of the teacher, which makes each different Choreo Class unique.
Breaking is an acrobatic dance form that started and was born in the streets of the Bronx in the 19070s. Breaking practitioners are known as B-Boys or B-Girls, and Breaking is also commercially known as Break Dance. Breaking is easy to distinguish from the other dance styles; a big part of the dance consists of Floorwork and Footwork, such as gliding/spinning on the back/head or on all fours moving their legs in different patterns and variations.
